CVE-2026-50142 2026-08-18 7.5 High
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. From 1.19.0 until 1.23.0, a crafted HEIF sequence accepted by heif_context_read_from_memory() with the msf1 sequence brand can cause unbounded heap allocation. In libheif/sequences/seq_boxes.cc, Box_stsz::parse() applies max_sequence_frames only to variable-size samples, so fixed-size mode accepts an attacker-controlled sample_count without a bound. In libheif/sequences/track.cc, Track::load() also adds current_sample_idx and samples_per_chunk in 32-bit arithmetic, allowing the consistency check to be bypassed by wraparound. The resulting values reach the Chunk::Chunk() allocation path, which can consume gigabytes of memory and crash or stall the process through memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.0.
CVE-2026-52732 1 Zcashfoundation 1 Zebra 2026-08-18 5.3 Medium
ZEBRA is a Zcash node written entirely in Rust. Prior to 4.5.0, one unauthenticated P2P peer can monopolize all 25 MAX_INBOUND_CONCURRENCY slots in Zebra's inbound mempool download and verification pipeline. In zebrad/src/components/mempool/downloads.rs, the bounded queue was shared globally without per-peer accounting, while peer identity was not carried through Gossip and FullQueue responses were mapped to Response::Nil instead of reaching overload disconnection handling. An attacker can advertise fake transaction identifiers and remain silent so each task holds a slot until TRANSACTION_DOWNLOAD_TIMEOUT, then periodically refill the queue as slots expire. While saturated, honest peer transactions and local sendrawtransaction requests are rejected with MempoolError::FullQueue, although block validation and synchronization continue. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.0.
CVE-2026-47628 1 Nvidia 1 Triton Inference Server 2026-08-18 7.5 High
NVIDIA Triton Inference Server for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause an allocation of resources without limits. A successful exploit might lead to denial of service.
CVE-2026-48597 1 Elixir-tesla 1 Tesla 2026-08-18 5.9 Medium
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-tesla tesla allows denial of service via atom table exhaustion in Tesla.Adapter.Mint. Tesla.Adapter.Mint.open_conn/2 converts the URL scheme of every outgoing request to a BEAM atom via String.to_atom(uri.scheme) with no allow-list validation. BEAM atoms are never garbage-collected and the atom table is bounded (approximately 1,048,576 entries by default). An attacker who can influence the URL of a Tesla request — either via an application-level URL-forwarding feature (webhook, proxy, importer) or via a Location header returned by a server when Tesla.Middleware.FollowRedirects is in the pipeline — can mint one fresh permanent atom per request by varying the scheme string. After enough requests the atom table fills and the VM crashes, taking down the entire application. This issue affects tesla: from 1.3.0 before 1.18.3.
CVE-2026-74039 2026-08-18 6.5 Medium
Wazuh 4.0.0 before 4.14.7 and 5.0.0-beta2 contain a denial of service vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with allow_run_as enabled to exhaust CPU resources by submitting arbitrarily deeply nested JSON structures to the POST /security/user/authenticate/run_as endpoint. Attackers can repeatedly submit malformed auth_context bodies with unlimited nesting depth to cause the API framework to consume excessive CPU, denying service to all other API consumers.
CVE-2026-73635 1 Apache 1 Struts 2026-08-18 7.5 High
Allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in Apache Struts. When no fixed locale is configured, the locale used for localized-text lookups is taken from the incoming request, allowing an unauthenticated remote client to cause the framework's internal localized-text caches to grow without bound and exhaust the Java heap, denying service to other users. Applications that configure a fixed locale are not affected. This issue affects Apache Struts: from 2.0.0 through 2.3.37, from 2.5.0 through 2.5.33, from 6.0.0 through 6.10.0, from 7.0.0 through 7.2.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.11.0 or 7.3.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-47683 1 Patriksimek 1 Vm2 2026-08-18 N/A
vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.6, the bufferAllocLimit enforcement in lib/setup-sandbox.js does not cover Buffer.concat(list, totalLength) or Buffer.from(arrayLike) with an attacker-controlled length, allowing sandbox code to perform large synchronous host external-memory allocations that bypass the configured cap and can exhaust the host process. This issue is fixed in version 3.11.6.
CVE-2026-13074 1 Mongodb 2 Mongodb, Mongodb Server 2026-08-18 5.3 Medium
An unauthenticated remote client can cause excessive CPU consumption on a MongoDB server by sending a specific combination of parameters to the awaitable hello command in exhaust mode. The server's handling of this combination results in a response loop that bypasses normal throttling, allowing a small number of connections to degrade server availability.
CVE-2026-13075 1 Mongodb 2 Mongodb, Mongodb Server 2026-08-18 6.5 Medium
An authenticated user can cause the mongod process to be terminated by the operating system under memory pressure via the $rankFusion and $scoreFusion aggregation stages. The issue originates in the server's error-handling path and requires the ability to run aggregation queries.
CVE-2026-13076 1 Mongodb 2 Mongodb, Mongodb Server 2026-08-18 6.5 Medium
An authenticated user can cause a {{mongod}} process to be terminated by the operating system under memory pressure by performing a specific data type conversion operation within MongoDB's aggregation framework. The behavior stems from disproportionate memory consumption during this operation, and requires both write access to the database and the ability to run aggregation queries.
CVE-2026-55254 1 Ncalc 1 Ncalc 2026-08-18 4.8 Medium
NCalc is a fast, lightweight expression evaluator for .NET. Prior to 6.1.1, the factorial operator implementation in src/NCalc.Core/Helpers/MathHelper.cs permits specially crafted expressions with extremely large factorial operands, causing excessive CPU consumption or a non-terminating loop due to integer overflow in the factorial calculation logic when applications evaluate untrusted expressions. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.1.
CVE-2026-43973 1 Ninenines 1 Gun 2026-08-18 7.5 High
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in ninenines gun (gun_http module) allows a malicious server to exhaust client memory via unbounded HTTP/1.1 response buffering. In gun_http:handle/5, three clauses accumulate incoming TCP data into the connection's buffer field using binary concatenation with no upper-bound check: the head clause appends data until the \r\n\r\n header terminator is found; the body_chunked clause appends data whenever cow_http_te:stream_chunked/2 returns a more result indicating an incomplete chunk boundary; and the body_trailer clause appends data until the trailing \r\n\r\n is found. In each case, when the expected terminator never arrives, the enlarged binary is stored back into state and the process waits for more data, with no configurable or hard-coded ceiling on buffer size. A malicious or compromised server can exploit this by sending a partial response that never completes. For example, a response may begin with HTTP/1.1 200 OK\r\nX-Pad: followed by an unbounded stream of arbitrary bytes, never sending the header terminator. The gun connection process will continuously append the incoming data to its buffer, causing unbounded heap growth. Because BEAM imposes no per-process heap limit by default, a single malicious connection can exhaust all available memory on the node, causing a node-wide out-of-memory crash. This issue affects gun: from 1.0.0 before 2.4.0.
CVE-2026-75841 1 Arcadedata 1 Arcadedb 2026-08-18 4.3 Medium
ArcadeDB before 26.8.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the Cypher range() function that allows authenticated users to exhaust server heap memory. Attackers can submit oversized range() expressions with large bounds to trigger OutOfMemoryError and cause temporary service degradation or unavailability.
CVE-2026-73997 2026-08-18 7.5 High
Unauthenticated Denial of Service Attack in Starter Templates by Kadence WP <= 2.3.3 versions.
CVE-2026-23938 1 Zabbix 1 Zabbix 2026-08-18 2.7 Low
An authenticated administrator is able to crash Zabbix server or proxy by creating specifically crafted preprocessing/script item JavaScript scripts, leading to potential denial of service.
CVE-2026-73062 1 Scriban 1 Scriban 2026-08-18 7.5 High
Scriban versions 3.0.0 through 7.2.0 contain a denial of service vulnerability in the array multiplication operator that allocates memory without enforcing LoopLimit or overflow-safe arithmetic checks. Attackers can supply a large integer multiplier in a template to force multi-gigabyte memory allocations, causing resource exhaustion and availability degradation.
CVE-2026-71486 1 Vllm-project 1 Vllm 2026-08-18 4.3 Medium
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.26.0, the /v1/completions/derender and /v1/chat/completions/derender endpoints accept caller-supplied GenerateResponse objects whose generate_responses, choices, token_ids, prompt_logprobs, logprobs.content, top_logprobs, and routed_experts structures are processed by OnlineDerenderer and tokenizer.decode before max_model_len, max_tokens, max_num_seqs, or response-size limits are enforced, allowing an authenticated API client to consume excessive CPU and memory and produce oversized responses. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.0.
CVE-2026-43329 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-18 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: strictly check for maximum number of actions The maximum number of flowtable hardware offload actions in IPv6 is: * ethernet mangling (4 payload actions, 2 for each ethernet address) * SNAT (4 payload actions) * DNAT (4 payload actions) * Double VLAN (4 vlan actions, 2 for popping vlan, and 2 for pushing) for QinQ. * Redirect (1 action) Which makes 17, while the maximum is 16. But act_ct supports for tunnels actions too. Note that payload action operates at 32-bit word level, so mangling an IPv6 address takes 4 payload actions. Update flow_action_entry_next() calls to check for the maximum number of supported actions. While at it, rise the maximum number of actions per flow from 16 to 24 so this works fine with IPv6 setups.
CVE-2026-32283 2 Go Standard Library, Golang 2 Crypto Tls, Go 2026-08-18 7.5 High
If one side of the TLS connection sends multiple key update messages post-handshake in a single record, the connection can deadlock, causing uncontrolled consumption of resources. This can lead to a denial of service. This only affects TLS 1.3.
CVE-2026-32280 2 Go Standard Library, Golang 2 Crypto/x509, Go 2026-08-18 7.5 High
During chain building, the amount of work that is done is not correctly limited when a large number of intermediate certificates are passed in VerifyOptions.Intermediates, which can lead to a denial of service. This affects both direct users of crypto/x509 and users of crypto/tls.
