CVE-2026-89787 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: check dir entry fits before reading the hash trailer in ext4_search_dir() For casefolded encrypted directories ext4 stores an 8-byte hash trailer after the name (EXT4_DIRENT_HASHES()), at an offset derived from de->name_len. On the sb_no_casefold_compat_fallback() path ext4_match() reads that trailer, but ext4_search_dir()'s by-hand pre-check only tests de->name + de->name_len <= dlimit, which proves the name fits, not the rounded trailer. A crafted entry whose name ends at the block boundary passes the check while EXT4_DIRENT_HASHES(de) lands past the block end, so ext4_match() reads out of bounds on an ordinary lookup. KASAN reports it as a use-after-free when the page after the directory block holds a freed object: BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in ext4_match (fs/ext4/namei.c:1435) Read of size 4 at addr ffff888010458000 by task exploit Call Trace: ext4_match (fs/ext4/namei.c:1435) ext4_search_dir (fs/ext4/namei.c:1470) __ext4_find_entry (fs/ext4/namei.c:1268 fs/ext4/namei.c:1632) ext4_lookup (fs/ext4/namei.c:1703 fs/ext4/namei.c:1769) ... filename_lookup (fs/namei.c:2842) vfs_statx (fs/stat.c:353) __do_sys_newfstatat (fs/stat.c:538) do_syscall_64 (arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:94) entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe (arch/x86/entry/entry_64.S:121) Require, for hash-in-dirent directories, that the whole entry including the rounded trailer fits before calling ext4_match(). This is the same bound ext4_check_dir_entry() already enforces via ext4_dir_rec_len(), so no well-formed entry is rejected. The other caller, ext4_find_dest_de(), runs ext4_check_dir_entry() first and is unaffected.
CVE-2026-89790 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: avoid divide by zero in rt6_multipath_rebalance rt6_multipath_rebalance() calculates the total eligible nexthop weight in one pass and programs upper bounds in a second pass. Since RTM_NEWROUTE is RTNL-free, a concurrent ignore_routes_with_linkdown update can make the first pass return zero while the second sees an eligible nexthop, causing rt6_upper_bound_set() to divide by zero. UBSAN: division-overflow in net/ipv6/route.c:4845:17 Oops: divide error: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN NOPTI rt6_upper_bound_set() net/ipv6/route.c:4845 rt6_multipath_rebalance() fib6_add_rt2node() ip6_route_multipath_add() inet6_rtm_newroute() Skip upper-bound calculation when the first pass reports a zero total. This respects the lock-free performance considerations here and solves insecure scenarios.
CVE-2026-54354 1 Mapserver 1 Mapserver 2026-09-18 8.2 High
MapServer is a system for developing web-based GIS applications. Prior to 8.6.4, MapServer's PostGIS runtime filter translation in src/mappostgis.cpp and msPostGISLayerTranslateFilter() treats a filteritem as numeric when CONNECTIONTYPE POSTGIS and metadata such as gml_<item>_type=Integer are configured, but it does not verify that attacker-controlled CGI qstring or OGC API Features featureId input is a numeric literal. The unquoted input is concatenated into the generated PostgreSQL/PostGIS predicate, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker with access to an affected query endpoint to bypass predicates, enumerate unintended records, perform boolean-based or time-based SQL injection, and increase database load. The issue does not by itself establish database modification capabilities. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.4.
CVE-2026-93394 1 Mongodb 1 C Driver 2026-09-18 3.7 Low
A flaw in libmongoc's SCRAM authentication implementation caused the client to continue the authentication handshake and transmit the client proof even when a nonce mismatch was detected in the server's first message. An unauthorized party with a man-in-the-middle position could exploit this by injecting a crafted server-first-message containing a controlled salt and low iteration count, then capturing the resulting client proof to perform offline password cracking. This vulnerability is mitigated by TLS, which is standard in production deployments.
CVE-2026-93395 1 Mongodb 1 C Driver 2026-09-18 5.3 Medium
A missing lower-bound validation in the bson_new_from_buffer() function of libbson allows an integer underflow when processing BSON data with a zero-length prefix. The function reads a 32-bit document length from the input buffer but does not verify that the value is at least 5 (the minimum valid BSON document size) before using it in an array index calculation. When the length field is zero, the expression used to check the document's null terminator wraps to UINT32_MAX, causing a heap out-of-bounds read that crashes the process. An unauthorized party who can supply crafted BSON input to an application using this API can cause a denial of service.
CVE-2026-86910 1 Apple 1 Macos 2026-09-18 5.5 Medium
A permissions issue was addressed with improved path validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An application may be able to access restricted files.
CVE-2026-77281 1 Caddyserver 1 Caddy 2026-09-18 6.5 Medium
Caddy is an extensible server platform that uses TLS by default. In version 2.11.3 and earlier, three configuration-dependent weaknesses affect the handler and placeholder layer. In modules/caddyhttp/rewrite/rewrite.go, Rewrite.Rewrite() can pass attacker-controlled replacement bytes through buildQueryString for a second placeholder expansion when a rewrite URI ends with a literal question mark, allowing injected environment or request-variable placeholders to disclose data and, when the file provider is registered, allowing injected file placeholders to disclose readable files. The issue is fixed in version 2.11.4.

CVE-2026-73638 1 Tonycoz 1 Imager 2026-09-18 N/A
Imager versions from 0.45_02 before 1.035 for Perl read outside the EXIF block via unchecked start offsets in tiff_load_ifd. tiff_load_ifd() validates an IFD entry's data by checking that `entry->offset + entry->size` stays within the EXIF block, and never checks the start offset itself. Where that sum is not the real end of the data, the check passes with the entry starting outside the block. Through 1.032 `entry->offset` is a plain int, so on the usual two's-complement implementations an offset with the high bit set converts to negative and the sum can land back inside the block. From 1.033 the field is a size_t and the addition wraps only where size_t is 32 bits. The IFD's own start offset is checked the same way and wraps where unsigned long is 32 bits, which includes 64-bit Windows. Any caller of Imager->read() on an attacker-supplied image may receive EXIF tags holding bytes from outside the block, or crash the process.
CVE-2026-93426 1 Signoz 1 Signoz 2026-09-18 8.5 High
SigNoz versions 0.87.0 before 0.142.0 fail to escape user-supplied telemetry field-key names in the v5 query_range API, allowing authenticated users to inject SQL. Attackers with Viewer role or higher can embed backticks and quotes in field names to break out of identifiers and string literals, executing arbitrary ClickHouse SQL to read system tables and exfiltrate data.
CVE-2026-93488 1 Redhat 12 Amq Broker, Amq Clients, Apicurio Registry and 9 more 2026-09-18 7.5 High
A flaw was found in Netty. SpdySessionHandler accepts an unlimited number of concurrent remote-initiated streams because localConcurrentStreams defaults to Integer.MAX_VALUE and the handler provides no API to change it. A remote peer can open a SPDY connection and send a large number of SYN_STREAM frames with FLAG_FIN=0, causing unbounded heap and direct memory allocation that can lead to JVM OutOfMemoryError and a denial of service.
