CVSS v3.1 |
| A code injection vulnerability exists in ProcessMaker Open Source versions 2.x when using the default 'neoclassic' skin. An authenticated user can execute arbitrary PHP code via multiple endpoints, including appFolderAjax.php, casesStartPage_Ajax.php, and cases_SchedulerGetPlugins.php, by supplying crafted POST requests to parameters such as action and params. These endpoints fail to validate user input and directly invoke PHP functions like system() with user-supplied parameters, enabling remote code execution. The vulnerability affects both Linux and Windows installations and is present in default configurations of versions including 2.0.23 through 2.5.1. The vulnerable skin cannot be removed through the web interface, and exploitation requires only valid user credentials. |
| The GPX Viewer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file creation due to a missing capability check and file type validation in the gpxv_file_upload() function in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.9. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to create arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. |
| The Versa Director SD-WAN orchestration platform includes a Webhook feature for sending notifications to external HTTP endpoints. However, the "Add Webhook" and "Test Webhook" functionalities can be abused by an authenticated user to send crafted HTTP requests to localhost. This can be leveraged to execute commands on behalf of the versa user, who has sudo privileges, potentially leading to privilege escalation or remote code execution.
Exploitation Status:
Versa Networks is not aware of any reported instance where this vulnerability was exploited. Proof of concept for this vulnerability has been disclosed by third party security researchers.
Workarounds or Mitigation:
There are no workarounds to disable the GUI option. Versa recommends that Director be upgraded to one of the remediated software versions. |
| Giskard is an evaluation and testing framework for AI systems. A Remote Code Execution (ReDoS) vulnerability was discovered in Giskard component by the GitHub Security Lab team. When processing datasets with specific text patterns with Giskard detectors, this vulnerability could trigger exponential regex evaluation times, potentially leading to denial of service. Giskard versions prior to 2.15.5 are affected. |
| A Remote Code Execution vulnerability has been discovered in Sonatype Nexus Repository 2.
This issue affects Nexus Repository 2 OSS/Pro versions up to and including 2.15.1. |
| A vulnerability was found in Pagure. An argument injection in Git during retrieval of the repository history leads to remote code execution on the Pagure instance. |
| The Versa Director SD-WAN orchestration platform which makes use of Cisco NCS application service. Active and Standby Directors communicate over TCP ports 4566 and 4570 to exchange High Availability (HA) information using a shared password. Affected versions of Versa Director bound to these ports on all interfaces. An attacker that can access the Versa Director could access the NCS service on port 4566 and exploit it to perform unauthorized administrative actions and perform remote code execution. Customers are recommended to follow the hardening guide.
Versa Networks is not aware of any reported instance where this vulnerability was exploited. Proof of concept for this vulnerability has been disclosed by third party security researchers. |
| Wi-Fi Alliance wfa_dut (in Wi-Fi Test Suite) through 9.0.0 allows OS command injection via 802.11x frames because the system() library function is used. For example, on Arcadyan FMIMG51AX000J devices, this leads to wfaTGSendPing remote code execution as root via traffic to TCP port 8000 or 8080 on a LAN interface. On other devices, this may be exploitable over a WAN interface. |
| Versions of the package jsonpath-plus before 10.3.0 are vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE) due to improper input sanitization. An attacker can execute aribitrary code on the system by exploiting the unsafe default usage of eval='safe' mode.
**Note:**
This is caused by an incomplete fix for [CVE-2024-21534](https://security.snyk.io/vuln/SNYK-JS-JSONPATHPLUS-7945884). |
| D-Tale is a visualizer for pandas data structures. Prior to version 3.16.1, users hosting D-Tale publicly can be vulnerable to remote code execution allowing attackers to run malicious code on the server. Users should upgrade to version 3.16.1 where the `update-settings` endpoint blocks the ability for users to update the `enable_custom_filters` flag. The only workaround for versions earlier than 3.16.1 is to only host D-Tale to trusted users. |
| A remote code execution vulnerability exists in invoke-ai/invokeai versions 5.3.1 through 5.4.2 via the /api/v2/models/install API. The vulnerability arises from unsafe deserialization of model files using torch.load without proper validation. Attackers can exploit this by embedding malicious code in model files, which is executed upon loading. This issue is fixed in version 5.4.3. |
| CVE-2024-4320 describes a vulnerability in the parisneo/lollms software, specifically within the `ExtensionBuilder().build_extension()` function. The vulnerability arises from the `/mount_extension` endpoint, where a path traversal issue allows attackers to navigate beyond the intended directory structure. This is facilitated by the `data.category` and `data.folder` parameters accepting empty strings (`""`), which, due to inadequate input sanitization, can lead to the construction of a `package_path` that points to the root directory. Consequently, if an attacker can create a `config.yaml` file in a controllable path, this path can be appended to the `extensions` list and trigger the execution of `__init__.py` in the current directory, leading to remote code execution. The vulnerability affects versions up to 5.9.0, and has been addressed in version 9.8. |
| The WP Import – Ultimate CSV XML Importer for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 7.28. This is due to the write_to_customfile() function writing unfiltered PHP code to a file. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject the customFunction.php file with PHP code that can be accessed to trigger remote code execution. |
| A race condition vulnerability was discovered in how signals are handled by OpenSSH's server (sshd). If a remote attacker does not authenticate within a set time period, then sshd's SIGALRM handler is called asynchronously. However, this signal handler calls various functions that are not async-signal-safe, for example, syslog(). As a consequence of a successful attack, in the worst case scenario, an attacker may be able to perform a remote code execution (RCE) as an unprivileged user running the sshd server. |
| MicroWorld eScan AV's update mechanism failed to ensure authenticity and integrity of updates: update packages were delivered and accepted without robust cryptographic verification. As a result, an on-path attacker could perform a man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack and substitute malicious update payloads for legitimate ones. The eScan AV client accepted these substituted packages and executed or loaded their components (including sideloaded DLLs and Java/installer payloads), enabling remote code execution on affected systems. MicroWorld eScan confirmed remediation of the update mechanism on 2023-07-31 but versioning details are unavailable. NOTE: MicroWorld eScan disputes the characterization in third-party reports, stating the issue relates to 2018–2019 and that controls were implemented then. |
| Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability exists in Sourcecodester Online Reviewer System 1.0 by uploading a maliciously crafted PHP file that bypasses the image upload filters.. |
| Telesquare SKT LTE Router SDT-CS3B1 version 1.2.0 contains an arbitrary file upload vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to upload malicious content by exploiting enabled WebDAV HTTP methods. Attackers can use PUT, DELETE, MKCOL, MOVE, COPY, and PROPPATCH methods to upload executable code, delete files, or manipulate server content for remote code execution or denial of service. |
| Happy DOM is a JavaScript implementation of a web browser without its graphical user interface. In versions 15.10.0 through 20.8.7, a code injection vulnerability in `ECMAScriptModuleCompiler` allows an attacker to achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) by injecting arbitrary JavaScript expressions inside `export { }` declarations in ES module scripts processed by happy-dom. The compiler directly interpolates unsanitized content into generated code as an executable expression, and the quote filter does not strip backticks, allowing template literal-based payloads to bypass sanitization. Version 20.8.8 fixes the issue. |
| Emlog is an open source website building system. In versions 2.6.2 and prior, a path traversal vulnerability exists in the emUnZip() function (include/lib/common.php:793). When extracting ZIP archives (plugin/template uploads, backup imports), the function calls $zip->extractTo($path) without sanitizing ZIP entry names. An authenticated admin can upload a crafted ZIP containing entries with ../ sequences to write arbitrary files to the server filesystem, including PHP webshells, achieving Remote Code Execution (RCE). At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches. |
| Kestra is an open-source, event-driven orchestration platform. Prior to version 1.3.7, Kestra (default docker-compose deployment) contains a SQL Injection vulnerability that leads to Remote Code Execution (RCE) in the following endpoint "GET /api/v1/main/flows/search". Once a user is authenticated, simply visiting a crafted link is enough to trigger the vulnerability. The injected payload is executed by PostgreSQL using COPY ... TO PROGRAM ..., which in turn runs arbitrary OS commands on the host. This issue has been patched in version 1.3.7. |
