CVE-2026-68085 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-14 8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_uart: clear HCI_UART_SENDING when write_work is canceled HCI_UART_SENDING bit in tx_state means write_work is pending and blocks queueing it again. Currently this bit is not cleared when canceling the work in hci_uart_close(), which blocks future writes when device is reopened later if write_work was pending. Fix by clearing HCI_UART_SENDING when canceling the work. Also make clearing of tx_skb safe by using disable_work_sync + enable_work instead of just cancel_work_sync. hci_uart_flush() purges the proto tx queue so we can cancel the pending write_work there, instead of doing it just in hci_uart_close(). Re-enable and possibly requeue the work after queue flush.
CVE-2026-64597 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-14 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix double-free in SMB2_close() replay A response-bearing attempt can return a replayable error and free its response buffer. If SMB2_close_init() fails before the next send, cleanup retains the previous buffer type and frees that response again. Reset response bookkeeping before each attempt to prevent the stale free.
CVE-2026-68392 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: mgmt: fix locking in unpair_device/disconnect_sync Dereferencing RCU-protected pointers outside critical sections is invalid and may lead to UAF. Take hdev->lock for hci_conn lookup and hci_abort_conn(). Don't use RCU to ensure the conn is fully initialized at this point.
CVE-2026-68390 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sync: hold hdev->lock for hci_conn_params lookups hci_conn_params_lookup requires hdev->lock be held, otherwise the list iteration or param access is not safe. Hold hdev->lock for params lookups in hci_sync.
CVE-2026-68387 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: raw: add locking for raw flags bitfield With commit 890e5198a6e5 ("can: raw: use bitfields to store flags in struct raw_sock") the formerly separate integer values have been integrated into a single bitfield. This led to a read-modify-write operation when changing a flag in raw_setsockopt() which now needs a locking to prevent concurrent access. Instead of adding a lock/unlock hell in each of the flag manipulations this patch introduces a wrapper for a new raw_setsockopt_locked() function analogue to the isotp_setsockopt[_locked]() approach in net/can/isotp.c [mkl: use Closes tag instead of Link]
CVE-2026-68236 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: set new_stream to NULL after release In dm_update_crtc_state(), the skip_modeset path releases new_stream via dc_stream_release() but does not set the pointer to NULL. If a later error (e.g., color management failure) triggers the fail label, the error path calls dc_stream_release() again on the same dangling pointer, causing a double release and potential use-after-free. Fix this by setting new_stream to NULL after the initial release. (cherry picked from commit 99f3af19073b3ddbfd96e789124cce12c4277b28)
CVE-2022-2586 3 Canonical, Linux, Redhat 5 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2026-08-13 5.3 Medium
It was discovered that a nft object or expression could reference a nft set on a different nft table, leading to a use-after-free once that table was deleted.
CVE-2022-1055 5 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more 22 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 19 more 2026-08-13 7.8 High
A use-after-free exists in the Linux Kernel in tc_new_tfilter that could allow a local attacker to gain privilege escalation. The exploit requires unprivileged user namespaces. We recommend upgrading past commit 04c2a47ffb13c29778e2a14e414ad4cb5a5db4b5
CVE-2026-53067 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: endpoint: pci-ep-msi: Fix error unwind and prevent double alloc pci_epf_alloc_doorbell() stores the allocated doorbell message array in epf->db_msg/epf->num_db before requesting MSI vectors. If MSI allocation fails, the array is freed but the EPF state may still point to freed memory. Clear epf->db_msg and epf->num_db on the MSI allocation failure path so that later cleanup cannot double-free the array and callers can retry allocation. Also return -EBUSY when doorbells have already been allocated to prevent leaking or overwriting an existing allocation.
CVE-2026-64246 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: reset: linkstation-poweroff: fix use-after-free in the linkstation_poweroff_init() Move of_node_put(dn) after the of_match_node() call, which still needs the node pointer. The node reference is correctly released after use.
CVE-2026-64249 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fpga: region: fix use-after-free in child_regions_with_firmware() Move of_node_put(child_region) after the error print to avoid accessing freed memory when pr_err() references child_region. [ Yilun: Fix the Fixes tag ]
CVE-2026-65781 1 Microsoft 4 Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 25h2 and 1 more 2026-08-13 7 High
