CVSS v3.1 |
| A directory traversal vulnerability exists in Linksys router's web interface (tested on the E1500 model firmware versions 1.0.00, 1.0.04, and 1.0.05), specifically in the /apply.cgi endpoint. Authenticated attackers can exploit the next_page POST parameter to access arbitrary files outside the intended web root by injecting traversal sequences. This allows exposure of sensitive system files and configuration data. |
| JVC VN-T IP-camera models firmware versions up to 2016-08-22 (confirmed on the VN-T216VPRU model) contain a directory traversal vulnerability in the checkcgi endpoint that accepts a user-controlled file parameter. An unauthenticated remote attacker can leverage this vulnerability to read arbitrary files on the device. |
| The Mercado Pago payments for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal in versions 7.3.0 to 7.5.1 via the mercadopagoDownloadLog function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to download and read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The arbitrary file download was patched in 7.5.1, while the missing authorization was corrected in version 7.6.2. |
| KEDA is a Kubernetes-based Event Driven Autoscaling component. Prior to versions 2.17.3 and 2.18.3, an Arbitrary File Read vulnerability has been identified in KEDA, potentially affecting any KEDA resource that uses TriggerAuthentication to configure HashiCorp Vault authentication. The vulnerability stems from an incorrect or insufficient path validation when loading the Service Account Token specified in spec.hashiCorpVault.credential.serviceAccount. An attacker with permissions to create or modify a TriggerAuthentication resource can exfiltrate the content of any file from the node's filesystem (where the KEDA pod resides) by directing the file's content to a server under their control, as part of the Vault authentication request. The potential impact includes the exfiltration of sensitive system information, such as secrets, keys, or the content of files like /etc/passwd. This issue has been patched in versions 2.17.3 and 2.18.3. |
| Bugsink is a self-hosted error tracking service. In versions 1.4.2 and below, 1.5.0 through 1.5.4, 1.6.0 through 1.6.3, and 1.7.0 through 1.7.3, ingestion paths construct file locations directly from untrusted event_id input without validation. A specially crafted event_id can result in paths outside the intended directory, potentially allowing file overwrite or creation in arbitrary locations. Submitting such input requires access to a valid DSN, potentially exposing them. If Bugsink runs in a container, the effect is confined to the container’s filesystem. In non-containerized setups, the overwrite may affect other parts of the system accessible to that user. This is fixed in versions 1.4.3, 1.5.5, 1.6.4 and 1.7.4. |
| Directory Traversal vulnerability in Punkbuster pbsv.d64 2.351, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. |
| Marinus Pfund, member of the AXIS OS Bug Bounty Program,
has found the VAPIX API ledlimit.cgi was vulnerable for path traversal attacks allowing to list folder/file names on the local file system of the Axis device.
Axis has released patched AXIS OS versions for the highlighted flaw. Please refer to the Axis security advisory for more information and solution. |
| Webile 1.0.1 contains a directory traversal vulnerability that allows remote attackers to manipulate file system paths without authentication. Attackers can exploit path manipulation to access sensitive system directories and potentially compromise the mobile device's local file system. |
| A path traversal vulnerability exists in httpdasm version 0.92, a lightweight Windows HTTP server, that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files on the host system. By sending a specially crafted GET request containing a sequence of URL-encoded backslashes and directory traversal patterns, an attacker can escape the web root and access sensitive files outside of the intended directory. |
| Lychee is a free photo-management tool. In versions starting from 6.6.6 to before 6.6.10, an attacker can leak local files including environment variables, nginx logs, other user's uploaded images, and configuration secrets due to a path traversal exploit in SecurePathController.php. This issue has been patched in version 6.6.10. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in WooCommerce WooCommerce One Page Checkout allows PHP Local File Inclusion. This issue affects WooCommerce One Page Checkout: from n/a through 2.3.0. |
| A flaw has been found in JSC R7 R7-Office Document Server up to 20250820. Impacted is an unknown function of the file /downloadas/. Executing manipulation of the argument cmd can lead to path traversal. The attack can be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 2025.3.1.923 is recommended to address this issue. The affected component should be upgraded. R7-Office is a fork of OpenOffice and at the moment it remains unclear if OpenOffice is affected as well. The OpenOffice team was not able to reproduce the issue in their codebase. The vendor replied: "We confirm that this vulnerability has been verified and patched in release 2025.3.1.923. During our security testing, it was not possible to exploit the issue - the server consistently returns proper error responses to the provided scenarios." |
| There are multiple ways in
LCDS LAquis SCADA for an attacker to access locations outside of their own directory. |
| The Swift Performance Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local PHP File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.7.1 via the 'ajaxify' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included. |
| The Kubernetes kubelet component allows arbitrary command execution via specially crafted gitRepo volumes. This issue affects kubelet: through 1.28.11, from 1.29.0 through 1.29.6, from 1.30.0 through 1.30.2. |
| The Auto-update service for Okta Verify for Windows is vulnerable to two flaws which in combination could be used to execute arbitrary code. |
| matrix-js-sdk is a Matrix messaging protocol Client-Server SDK for JavaScript. matrix-js-sdk before 34.11.0 is vulnerable to client-side path traversal via crafted MXC URIs. A malicious room member can trigger clients based on the matrix-js-sdk to issue arbitrary authenticated GET requests to the client's homeserver. Fixed in matrix-js-sdk 34.11.1. |
| A vulnerability was found in merikbest ecommerce-spring-reactjs up to 464e610bb11cc2619cf6ce8212ccc2d1fd4277fd. It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /api/v1/admin/ of the component File Upload Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument filename leads to path traversal. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Continious delivery with rolling releases is used by this product. Therefore, no version details of affected nor updated releases are available. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in jammy928 CoinExchange_CryptoExchange_Java up to 8adf508b996020d3efbeeb2473d7235bd01436fa. This affects the function uploadLocalImage of the file /CoinExchange_CryptoExchange_Java-master/00_framework/core/src/main/java/com/bizzan/bitrade/util/UploadFileUtil.java of the component File Upload Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument filename leads to path traversal. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product does not use versioning. This is why information about affected and unaffected releases are unavailable. |
| Directory Traversal vulnerability in dagster-webserver Dagster thru 1.5.11 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via crafted request to the /logs endpoint. This may be restricted to certain file names that start with a dot ('.'). |
