CVE-2026-64993 1 Dell 1 Rvtools 2026-08-07 6.8 Medium
Dell RVTools versions prior to 4.8.1, contains an improper certificate validation vulnerability in the collector. A remote unauthenticated attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability leading to loss of confidentiality and integrity.
CVE-2026-16792 1 Lenovo 1 Xclarity Orchestrator 2026-08-05 6.1 Medium
An improper certificate validation vulnerability was reported in multiple Lenovo XClarity Orchestrator (LXCO) 2.2.0 microservices that could allow an adjacent network attacker to intercept sensitive communications by performing a machine-in-the-middle attack against HTTPS connections during TLS certificate validation under certain circumstances.
CVE-2026-67293 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-08-05 4.2 Medium
FreeRDP before 3.29.0 (affected versions <= 3.28.0) contains an improper certificate hostname validation vulnerability. The TLS hostname matcher (tls_match_hostname() in libfreerdp/crypto/tls.c) treats a wildcard pattern such as *.example.com as matching any hostname ending in .example.com, so it incorrectly accepts a wildcard certificate for multi-label subdomains like a.b.example.com (which OpenSSL's X509_check_host() rejects). This weakens TLS server authentication under wildcard-certificate conditions.
CVE-2025-9291 1 Tp-link 221 Omada Access Point, Omada Ds1008x, Omada Ds1008x Firmware and 218 more 2026-08-05 6.5 Medium
A certification validation weakness exists in communication between affected Omada devices and cloud controllers. Certificate identity verification does not adequately validate that a presented certificate corresponds to the expected cloud controller hostname, which may allow certificate validation protections to be bypassed under specific conditions. Successful exploitation may allow interception or modification of communication between affected devices and cloud controllers.
CVE-2026-0392 1 Latvijas Valsts Radio Un Televīzijas Centrs (lvrtc) 1 Eparakstītājs 3.0 2026-08-05 N/A
eParakstītājs 3.0 for Windows before version 1.10.0 retrieves and executes its automatic updates over a channel that is not authenticated or integrity-protected. On each launch the application fetches an update descriptor (XML) over TLS but accepts any TLS certificate (a permissive TrustManager and a HostnameVerifier that always returns true), does not verify any digital signature on the update descriptor, and does not verify the Authenticode signature or a checksum of the downloaded installer before running it. A man-in-the-middle attacker able to redirect www.eparaksts.lv can serve a crafted update descriptor pointing to an attacker-controlled executable, which the client downloads and executes, resulting in arbitrary code execution on the victim host.
CVE-2026-66402 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-08-04 9.8 Critical
FreeRDP before 3.29.0 (affected versions <= 3.28.0) contains multiple TLS certificate identity validation weaknesses in tls_verify_certificate(), tls_match_hostname(), and x509_utils_get_dns_names(). Because FreeRDP performs custom Common Name and DNS SAN string matching instead of using OpenSSL's length-aware identity validation APIs, it (1) truncates DNS SAN values at embedded NUL bytes (accepting e.g. 'victim.example\0.attacker.example' as 'victim.example'), (2) accepts a matching Common Name even when non-matching DNS SAN entries are present, and (3) accepts IP-literal targets via DNS/CN matching without comparing iPAddress SANs. Under a trusted or misissued certificate chain, an attacker positioned to present such a certificate can bypass server identity verification, weakening TLS server authentication.
CVE-2026-18141 1 Redhat 3 Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Automation Platform Developer, Ansible Automation Platform Inside 2026-08-04 8.2 High
A flaw was found in aap-gateway, a component of Ansible Automation Platform's Event-Driven Ansible (EDA). An unauthenticated remote attacker can bypass mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS) authentication for event streams. This is achieved by manipulating the event stream URL and forging the HTTP Subject header. The system also inadvertently discloses the expected certificate subject in error messages, which simplifies the attack. This vulnerability allows an attacker to inject arbitrary events into EDA, potentially triggering automated workflows.
CVE-2026-69248 1 Pyca 1 Cryptography 2026-08-04 N/A
cryptography is a package designed to expose cryptographic primitives and recipes to Python developers. Prior to 49.0.0, if an intermediate constrained CA permits the DNS name foo.example.com, and the leaf certificate has a wildcard in its DNS SAN of *.example.com, python-cryptography's verifier accepts which allows escaping outside of the permitted names. The core issue is in DNSConstraint::matches, where a wildcard pattern was treated as matching a more-specific permitted constraint even though *.example.com can expand to sibling names such as bar.example.com outside foo.example.com. This allows acceptance of an invalid certificate chain. This issue is fixed in 49.0.0.
CVE-2026-13462 1 Payrange 1 Payrange 2026-08-04 7.5 High
PayRange Android app, version 7.0.7 and below, contains an SSL bypass vulnerability that allows invalid certificates to be accepted in application webviews. A remote and unauthenticated attacker can steal information that the user sends.
CVE-2026-60648 1 Oracle 1 Webcenter Content 2026-08-04 8 High
Vulnerability in the Oracle WebCenter Content product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Web Content Management). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle WebCenter Content. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle WebCenter Content. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.0 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
CVE-2026-18089 1 Timlegge 2 Net::saml2, Net\ 2026-08-03 7.5 High
Net::SAML2 versions before 0.86 for Perl allow SAML authentication bypass by verifying responses against the response-embedded certificate in verify_xml when no trust anchor is configured. verify_xml in Net::SAML2::Role::VerifyXML runs "return if !$anchors && !$cacert;" as soon as the XML::Sig check succeeds, and that check uses the X.509 certificate taken from the response's own dsig:KeyInfo/dsig:X509Certificate element, so an unanchored response is checked only against the key it carries. Binding::POST declares cacert as an optional Maybe[Str] with no default, so a POST binding built without one takes that path, and _verify_encrypted_assertion returns early the same way with "return $xml unless $cacert;". Any caller that constructs Binding::POST or calls Assertion->new_from_xml without a cacert, cert_text, or anchors argument accepts a response signed by an attacker generated key whose self-signed certificate is embedded in that response, authenticating an arbitrary assertion.
CVE-2026-58062 1 Legion Of The Bouncy Castle Inc. 3 Bc-fja, Bc-java, Bc-lts-java 2026-08-03 N/A
In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.85, Stapled OCSP response accepted without binding to the checked certificate. This issue also affects Bouncy Castle for Java LTS before 2.73.12, and Bouncy Castle for Java FIPS (BC-FJA) before bc-fips 2.0.2 (2.0.X series) and 2.1.3 (2.1.X series).
CVE-2026-67294 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-08-03 5.9 Medium
FreeRDP before 3.29.0 improperly validates the Extended Key Usage (EKU) purpose of the peer certificate during client-side server TLS authentication. In x509_utils_verify(), when server-purpose (X509_PURPOSE_SSL_SERVER) verification fails, the code falls back to client-purpose and any-purpose verification, so a trusted, hostname-matching certificate valid only for clientAuth can be accepted as the RDP server certificate. In environments relying on EKU separation between client and server certificates, this allows a clientAuth-only certificate issued by a trusted CA to bypass server certificate purpose validation.
CVE-2026-8763 1 Legion Of The Bouncy Castle Inc. 3 Bc-fja, Bc-java, Bc-lts-java 2026-08-03 N/A
In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.85, Name Constraints bypass via trailing dot in rfc822Name and URI. This issue also affects Bouncy Castle for Java LTS before 2.73.12, and Bouncy Castle for Java FIPS (BC-FJA) before bc-fips 1.0.2.7 (1.0.X series), 2.0.2 (2.0.X series) and 2.1.3 (2.1.X series).
CVE-2026-8497 1 Devolutions 1 Password Manager 2026-08-03 7.4 High
Improper certificate validation in the Devolutions Server connection handling in Devolutions Password Manager 2026.2.1.0 and earlier on Android, iOS, and macOS allows an adjacent-network attacker to intercept and modify sensitive information via a forged TLS certificate.
CVE-2026-15925 1 Snowflake 1 Snowflake-connector-python 2026-08-02 7.4 High
Improper TLS hostname verification in Snowflake Connector for Python versions prior to 4.7.1 and 3.18.1 may have allowed a network-positioned attacker to bypass certificate hostname validation on HTTPS connections made by the connector. An attacker with on-path network access could exploit this by intercepting or redirecting network traffic and presenting a certificate signed by any trusted CA for any domain, causing the connector to accept connections without validating that the certificate matched the requested hostname. Successful exploitation requires an on-path traffic interception capability (e.g. ARP/DNS poisoning, rogue access point, BGP hijacking, or malicious proxy/exit node). This vulnerability may have exposed credentials, query data, and staged file contents to interception and tampering, and may have enabled the attacker to issue arbitrary SQL within the context of the victim's connector session. Impact is limited by the privileges of the affected Snowflake role. The fix is available in Snowflake Connector for Python versions 4.7.1 and 3.18.1. Users must manually upgrade.
CVE-2026-13385 1 Asus 1 Router 2026-08-01 N/A
An Improper Validation of Integrity Check Value and Improper Certificate Validation in certain ASUS router models allows a remote man-in-the-middle(MITM) user to make the router download and execute arbitrary command via a spoofed server. Refer to the '  Security Update for ASUS Router Firmware  ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information.
