| CVE-2025-24934 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-04-24 | 5.4 Medium |
| Software which sets SO_REUSEPORT_LB on a socket and then connects it to a host will not directly observe any problems. However, due to its membership in a load-balancing group, that socket will receive packets originating from any host. This breaks the contract of the connect(2) and implied connect via sendto(2), and may leave the application vulnerable to spoofing attacks. The kernel failed to check the connection state of sockets when adding them to load-balancing groups. Furthermore, when looking up the destination socket for an incoming packet, the kernel will match a socket belonging to a load-balancing group even if it is connected, in violation of the contract that connected sockets are only supposed to receive packets originating from the connected host. | ||||
| CVE-2006-5550 | 2 Freebsd, Openbsd | 2 Freebsd, Openbsd | 2026-04-23 | N/A |

| The replay functionality for ZFS Intent Log (ZIL) in FreeBSD 7.1, 7.2, and 8.0, when creating files during replay of a setattr transaction, uses 7777 permissions instead of the original permissions, which might allow local users to read or modify unauthorized files in opportunistic circumstances after a system crash or power failure. | ||||
| CVE-2009-4502 | 3 Freebsd, Sun, Zabbix | 3 Freebsd, Solaris, Zabbix | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| The NET_TCP_LISTEN function in net.c in Zabbix Agent before 1.6.7, when running on FreeBSD or Solaris, allows remote attackers to bypass the EnableRemoteCommands setting and execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in the argument to net.tcp.listen. NOTE: this attack is limited to attacks from trusted IP addresses. | ||||

| freebsd-update in FreeBSD 8.0, 7.2, 7.1, 6.4, and 6.3 uses insecure permissions in its working directory (/var/db/freebsd-update by default), which allows local users to read copies of sensitive files after a (1) freebsd-update fetch (fetch) or (2) freebsd-update upgrade (upgrade) operation. | ||||
| CVE-2006-5679 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| Integer overflow in the ffs_mountfs function in FreeBSD 6.1 allows local users to cause a denial of service (panic) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted UFS filesystem that causes invalid or large size parameters to be provided to the kmem_alloc function. NOTE: a third party states that this issue does not cross privilege boundaries in FreeBSD because only root may mount a filesystem. | ||||
| CVE-2009-4146 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| The _rtld function in the Run-Time Link-Editor (rtld) in libexec/rtld-elf/rtld.c in FreeBSD 7.1, 7.2, and 8.0 does not clear the LD_PRELOAD environment variable, which allows local users to gain privileges by executing a setuid or setguid program with a modified LD_PRELOAD variable containing an untrusted search path that points to a Trojan horse library, a different vector than CVE-2009-4147. | ||||
| CVE-2009-3527 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| Race condition in the Pipe (IPC) close function in FreeBSD 6.3 and 6.4 allows local users to cause a denial of service (crash) or gain privileges via vectors related to kqueues, which triggers a use after free, leading to a NULL pointer dereference or memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2009-4147 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| The _rtld function in the Run-Time Link-Editor (rtld) in libexec/rtld-elf/rtld.c in FreeBSD 7.1 and 8.0 does not clear the (1) LD_LIBMAP, (2) LD_LIBRARY_PATH, (3) LD_LIBMAP_DISABLE, (4) LD_DEBUG, and (5) LD_ELF_HINTS_PATH environment variables, which allows local users to gain privileges by executing a setuid or setguid program with a modified variable containing an untrusted search path that points to a Trojan horse library, different vectors than CVE-2009-4146. | ||||
| CVE-2008-4247 | 3 Freebsd, Netbsd, Openbsd | 3 Freebsd, Netbsd, Openbsd | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| ftpd in OpenBSD 4.3, FreeBSD 7.0, NetBSD 4.0, Solaris, and possibly other operating systems interprets long commands from an FTP client as multiple commands, which allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks and execute arbitrary FTP commands via a long ftp:// URI that leverages an existing session from the FTP client implementation in a web browser. | ||||
| CVE-2009-1436 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| The db interface in libc in FreeBSD 6.3, 6.4, 7.0, 7.1, and 7.2-PRERELEASE does not properly initialize memory for Berkeley DB 1.85 database structures, which allows local users to obtain sensitive information by reading a database file. | ||||
| CVE-2009-1041 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| The ktimer feature (sys/kern/kern_time.c) in FreeBSD 7.0, 7.1, and 7.2 allows local users to overwrite arbitrary kernel memory via an out-of-bounds timer value. | ||||
| CVE-2009-1935 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| Integer overflow in the pipe_build_write_buffer function (sys/kern/sys_pipe.c) in the direct write optimization feature in the pipe implementation in FreeBSD 7.1 through 7.2 and 6.3 through 6.4 allows local users to bypass virtual-to-physical address lookups and read sensitive information in memory pages via unspecified vectors. | ||||
