CVSS v3.1 |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.18.1, a crafted PDF can place unusually large source-code or destination-string tokens in a font /ToUnicode mapping, causing pypdf/_cmap.py parse_bfchar to decode and retain oversized values during operations such as text extraction and consume excessive memory. This is a second follow-up to earlier /ToUnicode resource-consumption fixes and is limited to the remaining token-length path. This issue is fixed in version 6.18.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dpaa2-switch: rework FDB management on the bridge leave path
On bridge leave, the dpaa2_switch_port_set_fdb() function always
allocates a new FDB for the port which is becoming standalone. In case
no FDB is found, then the port leaving a bridge will continue to use the
current one.
The above logic does not cover the case in which there are multiple
bridges which have ports from the same DPSW instance. In this case, when
the last port leaves bridge #1, it finds an unused FDB to switch to, but
the old FDB is not marked as unused. Since the number of FDBs is equal
to the number of DPSW interfaces, this will eventually lead to multiple
ports sharing the same FDB.
Fix this by changing how we are managing the FDBs on the leave path.
Instead of directly allocating a new FDB, first verify if the current
port is the last one to leave a bridge. If this is the case, then
continue to use the current FDB and only allocate another FDB if there
are other ports remaining in the bridge. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
blk-cgroup: fix leaks and online flag on radix_tree_insert failure
When radix_tree_insert() fails in blkg_create(), the error path has two
issues:
1. blkg->online is set to true unconditionally, even when the blkg was
never fully inserted. Move the assignment inside the success block.
2. The error path calls blkg_put() without first calling
percpu_ref_kill(). Because the refcount is still in percpu mode,
percpu_ref_put() only does this_cpu_sub() without checking for zero,
so blkg_release() is never triggered. This permanently leaks the
blkg memory, its percpu iostat, policy data, the parent blkg
reference, and the cgroup css reference — the latter preventing the
cgroup from ever being destroyed.
Fix by replacing blkg_put() with percpu_ref_kill(), matching the pattern
used in blkg_destroy(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: Fix acl.sd_buf memory leak and invalid sd_size error handling
1. When ndr_decode_v4_ntacl() fails, the code jumped to free_n_data
which only freed n.data, skipping kfree(acl.sd_buf) and leaking
the buffer. Zero-initialize struct xattr_ntacl acl, reorder error
labels to out_free to release acl.sd_buf on all error paths.
2. if (acl.sd_size < sizeof(struct smb_ntsd)) is true, original code
returned success without freeing sd_buf and left stale *pntsd.
Set rc = -EINVAL before jumping to out_free to return error code and
free buffer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: fix sd_ndr.data memory leak in ksmbd_vfs_set_sd_xattr
ndr_encode_v4_ntacl() allocates sd_ndr.data via kzalloc() at entry.
If any subsequent ndr_write_*() call returns error during encoding,
the allocated sd_ndr.data won't be freed and causes memory leak.
Move kfree(sd_ndr.data) into out label to ensure the buffer gets
released on all success and error return paths. |
| A vulnerability has been found in RaspAP raspap-webgui up to 3.5.5. Affected by this vulnerability is the function escapeshellcmd of the file ajax/openvpn/del_ovpncfg.php of the component OpenVPN Configuration Handler. Such manipulation of the argument cfg_id leads to os command injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability was determined in Ziroom ZHOME A0101 1.0.1.0. Impacted is an unknown function of the file /api/ZRnetwork/set_passwd. This manipulation of the argument password1 causes command injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A flaw has been found in Ziroom ZHOME A0101 1.0.1.0. This affects an unknown part of the file /api/ZRnetwork/firstSetup_wifi. Executing a manipulation of the argument login_pwd can lead to command injection. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been published and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| restbed through 5.0.0 buffers HTTP request headers without enforcing a maximum size limit, allowing remote unauthenticated attackers to exhaust server memory. Attackers can open TCP connections and stream bytes indefinitely without sending the header delimiter, forcing the server to allocate unbounded heap memory until the process is killed. |
| OpenClaw Windows Node before 2026.7.1 contains an allocation of resources without limits vulnerability in the gateway WebSocket transport that allows connected gateways to exhaust node memory. Attackers can send an unending sequence of WebSocket continuation frames without EndOfMessage to cause unbounded memory growth until the node process crashes. |
| openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.9 fail to properly validate key derivation function costs in crafted files, allowing attackers to trigger unbounded memory and CPU exhaustion during pre-authentication processing. Attackers can supply malicious files with excessive KDF parameters to exhaust system resources and crash or wedge the process before password verification occurs. |
| openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.0 use an in-memory rate limiter for TOTP brute-force protection that is not shared across workers and is lost on server restart. Attackers can distribute authentication attempts across multiple server instances or retry immediately after a restart to bypass rate limiting protections. |
| Wazuh 4.0.0 before 4.14.7 and 5.0.0-beta2 contain a denial of service vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with allow_run_as enabled to exhaust CPU resources by submitting arbitrarily deeply nested JSON structures to the POST /security/user/authenticate/run_as endpoint. Attackers can repeatedly submit malformed auth_context bodies with unlimited nesting depth to cause the API framework to consume excessive CPU, denying service to all other API consumers. |
| RustDesk versions before 1.4.7 contain an uncontrolled speculative memory allocation vulnerability in BytesCodec. Before authentication, the decoder trusts the payload length encoded in a four-byte frame header and reserves that amount before receiving the payload. A crafted header can request up to 1,073,741,823 bytes of capacity, allowing unauthenticated attackers to use concurrent TCP connections to cause memory exhaustion and denial of service. The fix caps header-triggered speculative preallocation at 256 KiB. |
| Ghidra before 12.1.3 contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in the PDB parser that allows attackers to terminate the Ghidra process by supplying a crafted PDB file with an oversized parameters section. The AbstractPdb deserialization routine reads all remaining parameters into an unbounded list, causing uncontrolled heap growth that triggers an OutOfMemoryError which bypasses exception handling and crashes the application. |
| Allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in batch-requests plugin in Apache APISIX.
An unauthenticated caller can drive a gateway worker into OOM via a route where the batch-requests plugin is used and the batch endpoint is publicly exposed. This issue affects Apache APISIX: from 1.3.0 through 3.18.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.19.0, which fixes the issue. |
| Tornado before 6.5.9 fails to limit the number of query string fields in HTTPServerRequest.__init__, allowing remote attackers to cause event-loop stalling by sending requests with thousands of query parameters. Attackers can send unauthenticated GET requests with unbounded query-string field counts to degrade response times for all clients sharing the same IOLoop. |
| The brace-expansion library generates arbitrary strings containing a common prefix and suffix. Prior to 1.1.20, 2.1.6, 3.0.8, and 5.0.11, deeply nested brace groups cause expand_() to recurse once per nesting level at comma-member and single-set expansion sites, exhausting the native stack before output limits can apply and potentially terminating the Node.js process. expand_ performs uncontrolled recursion for nested brace alternatives and single-part sets. deeply nested brace groups supplied as an untrusted pattern. expand_ is affected. expand is affected. Comma members is affected. Single set is affected. native stack exhaustion during nested sub-expansion. process-terminating denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 1.1.20, 2.1.6, 3.0.8, and 5.0.11. |
| ip-address is a library for parsing and manipulating IPv4 and IPv6 addresses in JavaScript. Prior to 10.7.1, the Address6 constructor, Address6.isValid, and parse code in src/ipv6.ts accept unbounded strings and expand invalid characters through RE_BAD_CHARACTERS into large diagnostics. Material impact occurs only when an application accepts a very large attacker-controlled field and passes it to Address6 parsing without an earlier length bound. Common URL and header limits, and common body-parser defaults, generally constrain the effect; common defaults typically exclude 32 MiB fields. Megabyte-scale fields can cause a synchronous stall and high transient memory use, approximately 16 MiB can trigger an invalid string length exception, and process termination occurs at approximately 32 MiB. The affected entry points include Address6.isValid and construction paths that reach parse. This issue is fixed in version 10.7.1. |
| A vulnerability was detected in Netcore NR289-GE 1.4.5102. This affects the function system of the file /set_ntp_server_ip.cgi of the component CGI Handler. The manipulation of the argument ntp_ip results in os command injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
