Uncontrolled search path in some Intel(R) Processor Identification Utility software before versions 6.10.34.1129, 7.1.6 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Uncontrolled search path in some Intel(R) PCM software before version 202311 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Uncontrolled search path for some Intel(R) oneAPI Compiler software before version 2024.1 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Incorrect default permissions in AMD StoreMI™ could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
Uncontrolled search path element in some installation software for Intel(R) Ethernet Adapter Driver Pack before version 28.3 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Uncontrolled search path in some Intel(R) Inspector software before version 2024.0 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Netdata is an open source observability tool. In affected versions the `ndsudo` tool shipped with affected versions of the Netdata Agent allows an attacker to run arbitrary programs with root permissions. The `ndsudo` tool is packaged as a `root`-owned executable with the SUID bit set. It only runs a restricted set of external commands, but its search paths are supplied by the `PATH` environment variable. This allows an attacker to control where `ndsudo` looks for these commands, which may be a path the attacker has write access to. This may lead to local privilege escalation. This vulnerability has been addressed in versions 1.45.3 and 1.45.2-169. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
A DLL hijack vulnerability was reported in Lenovo Leyun that could allow a local attacker to execute code with elevated privileges.
A DLL hijack vulnerability was reported in Lenovo Baiying that could allow a local attacker to execute code with elevated privileges.
A DLL hijack vulnerability was reported in Lenovo Personal Cloud that could allow a local attacker to execute code with elevated privileges.
A DLL hijack vulnerability was reported in Lenovo PC Manager AI intelligent scenario that could allow a local attacker to execute code with elevated privileges.
A DLL hijack vulnerability was reported in Lenovo Service Framework that could allow a local attacker to execute code with elevated privileges.
Uncontrolled search path element in some Intel(R) MAS software before version 2.5 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Uncontrolled search path in some Intel(R) oneAPI DPC++/C++ Compiler before version 2024.2 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Unquoted path or search item vulnerability in SugarSync versions prior to 4.1.3 for Windows. This misconfiguration could allow an unauthorized local user to inject arbitrary code into the unquoted service path, resulting in privilege escalation.
Diebold Nixdorf – CWE-427: Uncontrolled Search Path Element
A vulnerability was found in Parsec Automation TrackSYS 11.x.x and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /TS/export/pagedefinition. The manipulation of the argument ID leads to direct request. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-269159. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A DLL Hijacking caused by drive remapping combined with a poisoning of the activation cache in Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2022 allows a malicious authenticated attacker to elevate from a medium integrity process to a high integrity process without the intervention of a UAC prompt.
Unquoted search path within AMD Cloud Manageability Service can allow a local attacker to escalate privileges, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
Due to DLL injection vulnerability in SAPSetup, an attacker with either local user privileges or with access to a compromised corporate users Windows account could gain higher privileges. With this, he could move laterally within the network and further compromise the active directory of a company. This leads to high impact on confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Windows server.
