CVSS v3.1 |
| Chef InSpec versions up to 5.23 and before 7.0.107 creates named pipes with overly permissive default Windows access controls. A local attacker may interfere with the pipe connection process and exploit the insufficient access restrictions to assume the InSpec execution context, potentially resulting in elevated privileges or operational disruption.
This issue affects Chef Inspec: through 5.23 and before 7.0.107 |
| The RupsMon.exe service executable in UPSilon 2000 has insecure permissions, allowing the 'Everyone' group Full Control. A local attacker can replace the executable with a malicious binary to execute code with SYSTEM privileges or simply change the config path of the service to a command; starting and stopping the service to immediately achieve code execution and privilege escalation |
| CMService.exe creates the C:\\usr directory and subdirectories with insecure permissions, granting write access to all authenticated users. This allows attackers to replace configuration files (such as snmp.conf) or hijack DLLs to escalate privileges. |
| The StrongDM Windows service incorrectly handled communication related to system certificate management. Attackers could exploit this behavior to install untrusted root certificates or remove trusted ones. |
| FrostWire 6.14.0-build-326 for macOS contains permissive entitlements (allow-dyld-environment-variables, disable-library-validation) that allow unprivileged local attackers to inject code into the FrostWire process via the DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES environment variable. This allows escalated privileges to arbitrary TCC-approved directories. |
| Acer ControlCenter contains Remote Code Execution vulnerability. The program exposes a Windows Named Pipe that uses a custom protocol to invoke internal functions. However, this Named Pipe is misconfigured, allowing remote users with low privileges to interact with it and access its features. One such feature enables the execution of arbitrary programs as NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM. By leveraging this, remote attackers can execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges. |
| GLPI, which stands for Gestionnaire Libre de Parc Informatique, is a Free Asset and IT Management Software package, that provides ITIL Service Desk features, licenses tracking and software auditing. In versions 10.0.0 to before 10.0.19, a connected user without administration rights can change the rules execution order. This issue has been patched in version 10.0.19. |
| Due to excessive privileges granted to the web user running the airpointer web platform, a malicious actor that gains control of the this user would be able to privilege escalate to the root user |
| A local privilege-escalation vulnerability has been discovered in the HPE Aruba Networking Virtual Intranet Access (VIA) client. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a local attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution with root privileges. |
| A vulnerability in the command-line interface of HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Gateways could allow an authenticated remote attacker to escalate privileges. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may enable the attacker to execute arbitrary system commands with root privileges on the underlying operating system. |
| Tesla Telematics Control Unit (TCU) firmware prior to v2025.14 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability. The TCU runs the Android Debug Bridge (adbd) as root and, despite a “lockdown” check that disables adb shell, still permits adb push/pull and adb forward. Because adbd is privileged and the device’s USB port is exposed externally, an attacker with physical access can write an arbitrary file to a writable location and then overwrite the kernel’s uevent_helper or /proc/sys/kernel/hotplug entries via ADB, causing the script to be executed with root privileges. |
| An issue in BambooHR Build v.25.0210.170831-83b08dd allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the /saml/index.php?r=" HTTP GET parameter. |
| A vulnerability in the NetExtender Windows client log export function allows unauthorized access to sensitive Windows system files, potentially leading to privilege escalation. |
| VMware Aria Operations contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability. A malicious actor with local administrative privileges can escalate their privileges to root on the appliance running VMware Aria Operations. |
| The Custom Login Page Customizer WordPress plugin before 2.5.4 does not have a proper password reset process, allowing a few unauthenticated requests to reset the password of any user by knowing their username, such as administrator ones, and therefore gain access to their account |
| An Improper Access Control vulnerability in Advantech SUSI driver (susi.sys) allows attackers to read/write arbitrary memory, I/O ports, and MSRs, resulting in privilege escalation, arbitrary code execution, and information disclosure. This issue affects Advantech SUSI: 5.0.24335 and prior. |
| A Sudo privilege misconfiguration vulnerability in PocketBook InkPad Color 3 on Linux, ARM allows attackers to read file contents on the device. This issue affects InkPad Color 3: U743k3.6.8.3671. |
| A privilege escalation vulnerability in PocketBook InkPad Color 3 allows attackers to escalate to root privileges if they gain physical access to the device.
This issue affects InkPad Color 3 in version U743k3.6.8.3671. |
| Planting a custom configuration file
in
ESET Inspect Connector allow load a malicious DLL. |
| The service employed by Everything, running as SYSTEM, communicates with the lower privileged Everything GUI via a named pipe. The named pipe has a NULL DACL and thus provides all users full permission over it; leading to potential Service Denial Of Service or Privilege escalation(only if chained with other elements) for a local low privilege user. |
