| An issue exists in SoftIron HyperCloud
where authenticated, but non-admin users can create data pools, which could potentially impact the performance and availability of the backend software-defined storage subsystem.
This issue only impacts SoftIron HyperCloud and related software products (such as VM Squared) software versions 2.3.0 to before 2.5.0. |
| VMware ESXi, Workstation, and Fusion contain a denial-of-service vulnerability due to certain guest options. A malicious actor with non-administrative privileges within a guest operating system may be able to exploit this issue by exhausting memory of the host process leading to a denial-of-service condition. |
| VMware ESXi contains a denial-of-service vulnerability that occurs when performing a guest operation. A malicious actor with guest operation privileges on a VM, who is already authenticated through vCenter Server or ESXi may trigger this issue to create a denial-of-service condition of guest VMs with VMware Tools running and guest operations enabled. |
| All versions of the package @discordjs/opus are vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) due to providing an input object with a property toString to several different functions. Exploiting this vulnerability could lead to a system crash. |
| All versions of the package speaker are vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) when providing unexpected input types to the channels property of the Speaker object makes it possible to reach an assert macro. Exploiting this vulnerability can lead to a process crash. |
| A vulnerability in Node.js has been identified, allowing for a Denial of Service (DoS) attack through resource exhaustion when using the fetch() function to retrieve content from an untrusted URL.
The vulnerability stems from the fact that the fetch() function in Node.js always decodes Brotli, making it possible for an attacker to cause resource exhaustion when fetching content from an untrusted URL.
An attacker controlling the URL passed into fetch() can exploit this vulnerability to exhaust memory, potentially leading to process termination, depending on the system configuration. |
| Kwik commit 745fd4e2 does not discard unused encryption keys. |
| The integrated ICMP service of the network stack of affected devices can be forced to exhaust its available memory resources when receiving specially crafted messages targeting IP fragment re-assembly. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a temporary denial of service condition of the ICMP service, other communication services are not affected. Affected devices will resume normal operation after the attack terminates. |
| The attack vector is a potential Denial of Service (DoS). The vulnerability is caused by an insufficient check on the length of a decompressed domain name within a DNS packet.
An attacker can craft a malicious DNS packet containing a highly compressed domain name. When the resolv library parses such a packet, the name decompression process consumes a large amount of CPU resources, as the library does not limit the resulting length of the name.
This resource consumption can cause the application thread to become unresponsive, resulting in a Denial of Service condition. |
| A reachable assertion in the decode_access_point_name_ie function of Magma <= 1.8.0 (fixed in v1.9 commit 08472ba98b8321f802e95f5622fa90fec2dea486) allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted NAS packet. |
| amphp/http will collect CONTINUATION frames in an unbounded buffer and will not check a limit until it has received the set END_HEADERS flag, resulting in an OOM crash. |
| Bematech (formerly Logic Controls, now Elgin) MP-4200 TH printer contains a denial of service vulnerability in the admin configuration page. Remote attackers can send crafted POST requests with malformed 'admin' and 'person' parameters to crash the printer's web service, causing a denial of service condition. |
| ajv (Another JSON Schema Validator) before 8.18.0 is vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) when the $data option is enabled. The pattern keyword accepts runtime data via JSON Pointer syntax ($data reference), which is passed directly to the JavaScript RegExp() constructor without validation. An attacker can inject a malicious regex pattern (e.g., "^(a|a)*$") combined with crafted input to cause catastrophic backtracking. A 31-character payload causes approximately 44 seconds of CPU blocking, with each additional character doubling execution time. This enables complete denial of service with a single HTTP request against any API using ajv with $data: true for dynamic schema validation. This issue is also fixed in version 6.14.0. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in Tor up to 0.4.7.16/0.4.8.17. Impacted is an unknown function of the component Onion Service Descriptor Handler. Performing manipulation results in resource consumption. The attack may be initiated remotely. The attack's complexity is rated as high. The exploitability is considered difficult. Upgrading to version 0.4.8.18 and 0.4.9.3-alpha is recommended to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| Varnish Cache before 7.3.2 and 7.4.x before 7.4.3 (and before 6.0.13 LTS), and Varnish Enterprise 6 before 6.0.12r6, allows credits exhaustion for an HTTP/2 connection control flow window, aka a Broke Window Attack. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC RTLS Locating Manager (6GT2780-0DA00) (All versions < V3.0.1.1), SIMATIC RTLS Locating Manager (6GT2780-0DA10) (All versions < V3.0.1.1), SIMATIC RTLS Locating Manager (6GT2780-0DA20) (All versions < V3.0.1.1), SIMATIC RTLS Locating Manager (6GT2780-0DA30) (All versions < V3.0.1.1), SIMATIC RTLS Locating Manager (6GT2780-1EA10) (All versions < V3.0.1.1), SIMATIC RTLS Locating Manager (6GT2780-1EA20) (All versions < V3.0.1.1), SIMATIC RTLS Locating Manager (6GT2780-1EA30) (All versions < V3.0.1.1). Affected applications do not properly release memory that is allocated when handling specifically crafted incoming packets. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service condition by crashing the service when it runs out of memory. The service is restarted automatically after a short time. |
| An issue in taurusxin ncmdump v1.3.2 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via memory exhaustion by supplying a crafted .ncm file |
| Incorrect access control in the Kafka Connect REST API in the STRIMZI Project 0.41.0 and earlier allows an attacker to deny the service for Kafka Mirroring, potentially mirror the topics' content to his Kafka cluster via a malicious connector (bypassing Kafka ACL if it exists), and potentially steal Kafka SASL credentials, by querying the MirrorMaker Kafka REST API. |
| GNOME VTE before 0.76.3 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a window resize escape sequence, a related issue to CVE-2000-0476. |
| SoftEtherVPN is a an open-source cross-platform multi-protocol VPN Program. When SoftEtherVPN is deployed with L2TP enabled on a device, it introduces the possibility of the host being used for amplification/reflection traffic generation because it will respond to every packet with two response packets that are larger than the request packet size. These sorts of techniques are used by external actors who generate spoofed source IPs to target a destination on the internet. This vulnerability has been patched in version 5.02.5185.
