CVSS v3.1 |
| Epic Games Easy Anti-Cheat 4.0 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability that allows local non-privileged users to execute arbitrary code with elevated system privileges. Attackers can exploit the service configuration by inserting malicious code in the system root path that would execute with LocalSystem privileges during application startup. |
| HTTPDebuggerPro 9.11 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability that allows local attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code with elevated system privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted binary path in the service configuration to inject malicious executables and gain elevated access to the system. |
| iFunbox 4.2 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the Apple Mobile Device Service that allows local attackers to execute code with elevated privileges. Attackers can insert a malicious executable into the unquoted service path to run with LocalSystem privileges when the service restarts. |
| Wise Care 365 5.6.7.568 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the WiseBootAssistant service running with LocalSystem privileges. Attackers can exploit this by inserting a malicious executable in the service path, which will execute with elevated system privileges when the service restarts. |
| Mediconta 3.7.27 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the servermedicontservice that allows local users to potentially execute code with elevated privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in C:\Program Files (x86)\medicont3\ to inject malicious code that would execute with LocalSystem permissions during service startup. |
| Tftpd32 SE 4.60 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability that allows local attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in the service configuration to inject malicious executables that will be run with system-level permissions. |
| Local privilege escalation due to unquoted search path vulnerability. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Agent (Windows) before build 37758, Acronis Cyber Protect 16 (Windows) before build 38690, Acronis True Image (Windows) before build 42386, Acronis True Image OEM (Windows) before build 42575. |
| In Electronic Arts Dragon Age Origins 1.05, the DAUpdaterSVC service contains an unquoted service path vulnerability. This service is configured with insecure permissions, allowing users to modify the executable file path used by the service. The service runs with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges, enabling attackers to escalate privileges by replacing or placing a malicious executable in the service path. |
| Unquoted Search Path or Element vulnerability in OpenText™ Service Manager.
The vulnerability could allow a user to gain SYSTEM privileges through Privilege Escalation.
This issue affects Service Manager: 9.70, 9.71, 9.72. |
| A weakness has been identified in Hasleo Backup Suite up to 5.2. Impacted is an unknown function of the component HasleoImageMountService/HasleoBackupSuiteService. This manipulation causes unquoted search path. The attack is restricted to local execution. The attack's complexity is rated as high. The exploitability is considered difficult. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be exploited. Upgrading the affected component is advised. |
| The service Bizerba Communication Server (BCS) has an unquoted service path. Due to the way Windows searches the executable for the BCS service, malicious programs can be executed. |
| Xerox Desktop Print Experience application contains a Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) vulnerability, which allows a low-privileged user to gain SYSTEM-level access. |
| A weakness has been identified in VeePN up to 1.6.2. This affects an unknown function of the file C:\Program Files (x86)\VeePN\avservice\avservice.exe of the component AVService. This manipulation causes unquoted search path. The attack requires local access. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is reported as difficult. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Unquoted search path for some PRI Driver software before version 03.03.1002 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| AnyDesk 7.0.15 and 9.0.1 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability that allows local non-privileged users to potentially execute code with elevated SYSTEM privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted service path configuration to inject malicious executables that will be run with high-level system permissions. |
| An Unquoted Search Path vulnerability has been identified in the utility for Moxa’s industrial computers (Windows). Due to the unquoted path configuration in the SerialInterfaceService.exe utility, a local attacker with limited privileges could place a malicious executable in a higher-priority directory within the search path. When the Serial Interface service starts, the malicious executable could be run with SYSTEM privileges. Successful exploitation could allow privilege escalation or enable an attacker to maintain persistence on the affected system. While successful exploitation can severely impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected device itself, there is no loss of confidentiality, integrity, or availability within any subsequent systems. |
| An unquoted service path in Kingosoft Technology Ltd Kingo ROOT v1.5.8.3353 allows attackers to escalate privileges via placing a crafted executable file into a parent folder. |
| Western Digital Kitfox for Windows provided by Western Digital Corporation registers a Windows service with an unquoted file path.
A user with the write permission on the root directory of the system drive may execute arbitrary code with the SYSTEM privilege. |
| RATOC RAID Monitoring Manager for Windows provided by RATOC Systems, Inc. registers a Windows service with an unquoted file path. A user with the write permission on the root directory of the system drive may execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privilege. |
| RAID Manager provided by Century Corporation registers a Windows service with an unquoted file path. A user with the write permission on the root directory of the system drive may execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privilege. |
