CVSS v3.1 |
| Buffer Overflow vulnerability in UTT nv518G nv518GV3v3.2.7-210919-161313 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via the gohead/sub_448384 component |
| Tenda CP3 V3.0 firmware V31.1.9.91 contains a stack-based buffer overflow in the RTSP service. The device fails to validate the length of the clock= value in the Range header field when processing a PLAY request. An unauthenticated remote attacker who has completed a standard RTSP session handshake can send a PLAY request with an excessively long clock= value to cause the RTSP service to crash. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the RTSP service of Tenda CP3 V3.0 (firmware V31.1.9.91) allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted SETUP request. The RTSP service's second-stage URL routing parser fails to validate the length of the URL field in the first SETUP request. By supplying a URL consisting of exactly four consecutive repetitions of a valid RTSP URL, an attacker can bypass first-stage format validation and trigger a stack buffer overflow, causing an immediate crash of the RTSP service process and rendering the device inaccessible to all clients on the local network. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Samsung Open Source Escargot allows Overflow Buffers.
This issue affects Escargot: before b30b63fc63b403907d8137da1c65aaa4521fe74e. |
| Buffer Overflow vulnerability in aMULE-Project aMule v.2.3.3 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via the OP_SERVERMESSAGE Handler. |
| The Apache Traffic Server uri_signing and url_sig plugins can exhaust the stack or crash on attacker input.
This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: from 8.0.0 through 8.1.9, from 9.0.0 through 9.2.14, from 10.0.0 through 10.1.3.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.15 or 10.1.4, which fix the issue. |

| OpenVPN version 2.1.0 through 2.6.20 and 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7.4 allows attackers via an off-by-one buffer write in the NTLM proxy authentication to potentially cause a crash via a crafted NTLM response from a malicious proxy server |
| IBM Db2 11.5.0 through 11.5.9, and 12.1.0 through 12.1.4 is vulnerable to buffer overflow in setgid helper db2flacc. |
| Apache Traffic Server mishandles PROXY protocol input, truncating ports and overflowing the stack.
| Autel MaxiCharger AC Elite Home NFC Stack-based Buffer Overflow Arbitrary Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows physically present attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Autel MaxiCharger AC Elite Home EV chargers. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of card responses via the NFC interface. A crafted card response can trigger an overflow of a fixed-length stack-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the device. Was ZDI-CAN-29044. |
| The
TL-WR940N v6 router contains a vulnerability in its RTSP connection tracking
module that can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. The issue occurs when a
LAN client initiates a connection to a malicious RTSP server controlled by an
attacker. A specially crafted RTSP message may trigger improper memory handling
within the kernel module
Successful
exploitation of this vulnerability may result in a denial-of-service (DoS)
condition or allow remote code execution (RCE), potentially leading to full
compromise of the device. This vulnerability can be exploited by an
unauthenticated attacker under the device's default configuration. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the File Explorer on the ADM. The vulnerability occurs because user-controlled input is not properly validated before being decoded and copied into a fixed-size stack buffer. An authenticated attacker can exploit this issue to cause denial of service of the affected CGI process. Further impact may be possible depending on exploitability and runtime protections.
Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RUN1 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.3.RI81. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
PCI: rcar-ep: Fix incorrect variable used when calling devm_request_mem_region()
The rcar_pcie_parse_outbound_ranges() uses the devm_request_mem_region()
macro to request a needed resource. A string variable that lives on the
stack is then used to store a dynamically computed resource name, which
is then passed on as one of the macro arguments. This can lead to
undefined behavior.
Depending on the current contents of the memory, the manifestations of
errors may vary. One possible output may be as follows:
$ cat /proc/iomem
30000000-37ffffff :
38000000-3fffffff :
Sometimes, garbage may appear after the colon.
In very rare cases, if no NULL-terminator is found in memory, the system
might crash because the string iterator will overrun which can lead to
access of unmapped memory above the stack.
Thus, fix this by replacing outbound_name with the name of the previously
requested resource. With the changes applied, the output will be as
follows:
$ cat /proc/iomem
30000000-37ffffff : memory2
38000000-3fffffff : memory3
