| CVE-2024-45815 | 2 Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 2 Backstage, Rhdh | 2025-01-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. A malicious actor with authenticated access to a Backstage instance with the catalog backend plugin installed is able to interrupt the service using a specially crafted query to the catalog API. This has been fixed in the `1.26.0` release of the `@backstage/plugin-catalog-backend`. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2024-45816 | 2 Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 2 Backstage, Rhdh | 2025-01-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. When using the AWS S3 or GCS storage provider for TechDocs it is possible to access content in the entire storage bucket. This can leak contents of the bucket that are not intended to be accessible, as well as bypass permission checks in Backstage. This has been fixed in the 1.10.13 release of the `@backstage/plugin-techdocs-backend` package. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2024-46976 | 2 Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 2 Backstage, Rhdh | 2025-01-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. An attacker with control of the contents of the TechDocs storage buckets is able to inject executable scripts in the TechDocs content that will be executed in the victim's browser when browsing documentation or navigating to an attacker provided link. This has been fixed in the 1.10.13 release of the `@backstage/plugin-techdocs-backend` package. users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2024-49767 | 2 Palletsprojects, Redhat | 3 Quart, Werkzeug, Openshift Ai | 2025-01-03 | 7.5 High |
| Werkzeug is a Web Server Gateway Interface web application library. Applications using `werkzeug.formparser.MultiPartParser` corresponding to a version of Werkzeug prior to 3.0.6 to parse `multipart/form-data` requests (e.g. all flask applications) are vulnerable to a relatively simple but effective resource exhaustion (denial of service) attack. A specifically crafted form submission request can cause the parser to allocate and block 3 to 8 times the upload size in main memory. There is no upper limit; a single upload at 1 Gbit/s can exhaust 32 GB of RAM in less than 60 seconds. Werkzeug version 3.0.6 fixes this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2017-18017 | 9 Arista, Canonical, Debian and 6 more | 33 Eos, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 30 more | 2025-01-03 | 9.8 Critical |
| The tcpmss_mangle_packet function in net/netfilter/xt_TCPMSS.c in the Linux kernel before 4.11, and 4.9.x before 4.9.36, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (use-after-free and memory corruption) or possibly have unspecified other impact by leveraging the presence of xt_TCPMSS in an iptables action. | ||||

| CVE-2018-20060 | 3 Fedoraproject, Python, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Urllib3, Ansible Tower and 1 more | 2024-12-27 | N/A |
| urllib3 before version 1.23 does not remove the Authorization HTTP header when following a cross-origin redirect (i.e., a redirect that differs in host, port, or scheme). This can allow for credentials in the Authorization header to be exposed to unintended hosts or transmitted in cleartext. | ||||
| CVE-2018-12121 | 2 Nodejs, Redhat | 9 Node.js, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 6 more | 2024-12-27 | 7.5 High |
| Node.js: All versions prior to Node.js 6.15.0, 8.14.0, 10.14.0 and 11.3.0: Denial of Service with large HTTP headers: By using a combination of many requests with maximum sized headers (almost 80 KB per connection), and carefully timed completion of the headers, it is possible to cause the HTTP server to abort from heap allocation failure. Attack potential is mitigated by the use of a load balancer or other proxy layer. | ||||
| CVE-2019-17546 | 3 Libtiff, Osgeo, Redhat | 3 Libtiff, Gdal, Enterprise Linux | 2024-12-20 | 8.8 High |
| tif_getimage.c in LibTIFF through 4.0.10, as used in GDAL through 3.0.1 and other products, has an integer overflow that potentially causes a heap-based buffer overflow via a crafted RGBA image, related to a "Negative-size-param" condition. | ||||

| CVE-2024-8508 | 3 Debian, Nlnetlabs, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Unbound, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2024-12-17 | 5.3 Medium |
| NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including version 1.21.0 contains a vulnerability when handling replies with very large RRsets that it needs to perform name compression for. Malicious upstreams responses with very large RRsets can cause Unbound to spend a considerable time applying name compression to downstream replies. This can lead to degraded performance and eventually denial of service in well orchestrated attacks. The vulnerability can be exploited by a malicious actor querying Unbound for the specially crafted contents of a malicious zone with very large RRsets. Before Unbound replies to the query it will try to apply name compression which was an unbounded operation that could lock the CPU until the whole packet was complete. Unbound version 1.21.1 introduces a hard limit on the number of name compression calculations it is willing to do per packet. Packets that need more compression will result in semi-compressed packets or truncated packets, even on TCP for huge messages, to avoid locking the CPU for long. This change should not affect normal DNS traffic. | ||||
